As part of BIOL 402 Evolution's Darwin Day Presentation. Dr. Justin Merry will present about cheetahs and other wildlife in Namibia. The focus will be on the Cheetah Conservation Fund and their efforts to both understand and protect the cheetah across Africa. Conservation work on the cheetah is interdisciplinary, and Dr. Merry will discuss how genetics and evolutionary biology influence conservation and management strategies for this amazing animal.
