This is a multi-day, overnight camp experience, with student check-in beginning at 3:00 PM on July 5 and pick-up at 1:00 PM on July 8.

Campers will stay on campus throughout the program, enjoying a full schedule of activities, learning opportunities, and community-building experiences from arrival through departure.

"The Wizard Behind the CurtAIn" is a three-day summer academy at Saint Francis University designed for curious high school students who want to understand what really powers today's AI. We will go beyond the hype and examine how AI tools actually work, as well as the power and limitations of these cutting-edge applications. Through hands-on activities and interactive demos, we will pull back the curtain on how AI systems learn, make predictions, and sometimes get things wrong. We will explore how data, algorithms, and human choices shape AI outcomes, as well as why ethics and biases matter. The program is perfect for students who don't just want to use AI; they want to understand how the "Wizard" actually works. The Academy will run from July 5-8, 2026.
