SOAR stands for Summer Orientation and Academic Registration and is the official beginning of your life as a student at Saint Francis University.  During SOAR, you and your parents will be introduced to the many academic and student-support resources that you will be receiving throughout your time at SFU.  You’ll also receive your fall class schedule, meet your academic advisor, and you’ll meet many of your fellow Red Flash classmates.

SOAR will provide you with everything you need to successfully start your SFU experience! 

New students (freshmen and transfers) and their parents/guardians are expected to attend only one SOAR date.  The 2024 dates are as follows: 

• Thursday, June 6 - on campus
• Friday, June 7 - on campus
• Friday, June 14 - on campus
• Thursday, June 20 - on campus
• Friday, June 21 - on campus
• Monday, June 24- on campus
• Friday, July 12 - virtual
