Dear SFU Community:

Here is an opportunity for you or your organization/group to give back to the local community, raise school spirit and continue a tradition at Saint Francis University.  Reaching Every Door (RED) is a day of service where students go out into the Loretto, Cresson, Lilly and Ebensburg communities and do various jobs and chores to help area senior citizens, people with physical limitations, churches, communities, civic organizations, etc.  Some of the projects we’ve done in the past include painting a living room for an elderly individual, cleaning out a garage, hauling recyclables to the recycling center, winterizing gardens, cleaning shelves at a local library, collecting litter at a local park, spreading mulch on trail paths, and many others.

We have a small assortment of tools, gloves, and cleaning supplies to make your job easier. We also ask our registrants to provide paint and supplies for their projects. Students are not permitted to operate power tools or climb ladders higher than a step ladder.

RED can only happen through the cooperation and dedication of SFU clubs, organizations, classes, fraternities, sororities and athletics teams. We encourage you to sign up today.
