Lake Saint Francis Investigation (2-Day Camp)

This camp is for students entering grades 7-9 in Fall 2024

We will take a deep dive--not literally--into Lake St. Francis. Using microscopes we will look at the smallest creatures in the pond, then focus on larger creatures lurking in the darkness. Campers will measure water quality, depth, organism population, water clarity, and much more. We will be outside a lot-rain or shine, be ready to learn in the rain. Please wear a hat, old clothes and old shoes that can get wet (NOT CROCKS), also please apply insect/tick repellent and sunscreen prior to camp. 

· Dates: Thursday, June 13 - Friday, June 14 

· Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

· Location: Saint Francis University, Loretto, PA 

· Program Fee: $80
